NOTICE – INVITING TENDER 

Sealed Tender in duplicate duly signed and superscribed with the name of the works for the following works are invited from Class – I and Class – II enlisted contractors of PWD, CPWD, MES, RAILWAYS and other public and statutory bodies and capable and experience contractors of university having valid up to date credentials (The single job value in last 3 years must be at least 75% of the job value for which tender is to be submitted) for executions of similar type of work and ST, IT &  PT Certificates etc. 

Tender documents in duplicate will be available on Cash Payment (Rs. 200/- in each) from the office of the University Engineer, Jadavpur University from 06-05-2008 to  14-05-2008 between office hours. The tender will be received by the University Engineer on 15-05-2008 up to 2-00 P.M. and same will be opened soon thereafter in presence of the tenderer or their representative participants on the same date. Earnest money shall be deposited by cash to University Cash section or Bank Draft only drawn in favour of JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY and shall be attached with the tender.

The University reserves the right to issue, accept or reject any tender or part thereof without assigning any reason whatsoever. University doesn’t bind itself to accept the lowest tender.

Tender paper for the above works can be had from the Office of the University Engineer from 28.04.2008 to  06.05.2008 on payment of Rs. 200/- for each set (Non-refundable) and will received on 07.05.2008  upto 3 P.M. with all complete documents and credentials and the same will be opened soon thereafter in presence of the tenderers or their authorized representatives.  Earnest Money shall be deposited by Cash to  the  Cash  Section  or  by  Bank  Draft  only  drawn  in  favour  of  JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY.

TENDER FOR CIVIL, ARCHITECTURAL, INTERNAL SANITARY PLUMBING & ELECTRICAL WORKS.

Jadavpur University intends to construct a proposed new extension of Physical Education Building, First floor. Sealed Tenders are invited in duplicate from the resourceful and bonafide contractors  for Civil, architectural, Sanitary Plumbing and Electrical works.

Bidders are advised to note the minimum qualification criteria specified in clause no 4.0 of General Condition of Contract to qualifyfor the award of the contract.

Tender papers in duplicate will be available on cash payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) (non-refundable) from the Office of Architect, M/s. HAVEN CONSULTANTS PVT. LTD., 14/2, Lake East 6^th Road Santoshpur, Kolkata -700 075 (Near Santoshpur mini bus stand stoppage) on any working day except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 25.04.08 to 05.05.2008 between 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. and will be received by the University Engineer at his Office on 06.05.2008 upto 2.00 p.m. with all complete documents and credentials and the same will be opened soon thereafter in presence of the tenderers or their representatives. Earnest money shall be deposited by cash to the cash section or by Bank Draft only drawn in favour of JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY.

The tender will be received by the University Engineer at his office on 02-05-2008 up to 2-00 P.M. and same will be opened soon thereafter in presence of the tender or their representative participants on the same date. Earnest money shall be deposited by cash to University Cash section or Bank Draft only drawn in favour of JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY and shall be attached with the tender.
