Students Canteen : Bidhan Chandra
Vidyarthi Bhavan

This Bhavan is expected to expand and grow into a Students ‘ Building housing the offices of all recreational clubs and societies. At present, it has arrangements for indoor games for boys and girls and a cafeteria. This cafeteria, with its spacious sitting place and decorated walls, is a nice place for budding intellectuals. One may enjoy tea or coffee here along with snacks, paying less than ai other places, as the Canteen is subsidised by the University for its staff payment and the business is supervised by a Students’ Committee.

C.E.T Canteen

It is a privately – run Canteen as old as the University itself. Situated as it is at the very main gate, it’s a resting-place for early-comers and late goers. Old boys always carry a nostalgic feeling for the place.

There is another book store just behind Sri Aurobindo Building which is supervised by the Engineering Students’ Union. This wayside store is a boon to commuter students who may need a last minute purchase of note books etc., while rushing for classes.
