Master of Arts (Physical Education)

A three-trimester day course

Conditions of eligibility:

For in-service candidates: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a minimum of 5 years continuous professional experience as a whole- ) time salaried employee of a recognized school/ college/ university / institution after obtaining the Bachelor's degree. g (No-objection certificate from appointing authority to be enclosed.)

For all others: Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Jadavpur University

Or

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with first class marks from any other recognized university / institution.

Selection Procedure:

For in-service candidates: On the basis of academic results, sports background, admission tests Or (written and practical) and service experience. ab te~ For all others: On the basis of academic results, sports background and admission test (written).

There are 20 seats for in-service candidates, 9 for other graduates of Jadavpur University, and 1 (one) seat for a first class graduate from a university other than Jadavpur. If enough graduates of 80 Jadavpur University (including SC/ST candidates) are not available under the second category, the Fa vacant seats will be offered to candidates in the third category.
