Electrical Engineering Department Infrastructural Facilities

  Illumination Engineering Section

In Jadavpur University Illumination Engineering is taught to all pre-final year students as compulsory.
16 to 18 final year students take this subject as elective each year in day time and part time evening course.
We have a very good laboratory split into four parts :
(a) Lighting power conditioning laboratory
(b) Electronic ballast testing laboratory (c) Photometry laboratory (d) Artificial sky laboratory

 • Photometric Laboratory.

 • Artificial Sky Laboratory.

 • Lamp Control Gear Design & Development Laboratory.

 • Lighting System Simulation Laboratory.
