Research Activities at CSS for the last five years

During the last five years, the following research activities were operative in the CSS.

1. Critical assessment of thermodynamics of pme and mixed micelle formation.

2. Thermodynamics of formation of microemulsion and physicochemical understanding of percolation in microemulsion.

3. Surfactant polymer / biopolymer interaction.

4. Adsorption of mixed dyes on various solid smfaces.

5. Enzyme kinetics in W/O microemulsion and drug encapsulation in O/W micro emulsion.

6. Synthesis of nanoparticles in W 10 micro emulsion and their characterization.

7. Calorimetric and Potentiometric studies on chemical oscillatory systems in varied environmental conditions.

8. Photochemical and photophysical studies in miceller and microemulsion systems with reference to their characterization.
