Profile of the Project

Since its inception, the Department of Physics at Jadavpur University has had a strong programme in Nuclear Physics. At a later date, this was reinforced by the commencement of work in Particle and High-Energy :Physics. The Nuclear and Particle Physics Research Centre has been established very recently to build upon this base and advance this line of research in the University, through systematic expansion of national and international collaboration.
